Senate
1. Election Integrity
HB3994 Election integrity (Passed 40 to 18 on 1/12/2021). Would make elections in Illinois susceptible to corruption and problems. This would include vote by mail ballots with insufficient postage.
2. Labor Unions
SB1784 Labor Unions (Passed 45 to 9 on 11/13/2019). Would make it harder for employers to run their businesses in the state of Illinois and give more power to corrupt unions. This would also allow unions to coerce workers who may not want to be in a union to have to join, which cedes authority and privacy.
3. Sanctuary State
HB1637 Sanctuary State (Passed 35 to 19 on 5/30/2019). Disallows Law enforcement from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This makes residents of Illinois less safe.
4. LGBTQ children
SR403 LGBTQ Children (Passed 39 to 11 on 5/31/2019). Would have the Department of Children and Family Services do a performance audit on how affirmed LGBTQ children are. This resolution also supports children being removed from foster homes if they are not affirmed in their believed gender by parents.
5. Abortion
SB0025 Abortion (Passed 34 to 20 on 5/31/2019). Would further cement support for abortion in the state of Illinois, and requires that abortion be covered by insurance providers in the state of Illinois.
6. Forced Union
SB1474 Forced Union (Passed 51 to 0 on 4/10/2019). This bill would force unions upon working people in Illinois, and overstep governmental boundaries.
