The following scorecard lists several key votes in the New Hampshire General Court in 2024 and ranks senators and representatives based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.

Senate

1. Strengthen Voter ID

Good Vote: Yes

HB1569 Strengthen Voter ID (Passed 13 to 11 on 5/23/2024). Eliminates all voter ID exemptions, end the use of affidavits as ID proof, and repeal affidavit ballot protocols.

2. Assisted Suicide

Good Vote: Yes

HB1283 Assisted Suicide (Rejected 17 to 7 on 5/16/2024). Establishes a process for terminally ill individuals in New Hampshire to access medical assistance in dying by self-administering prescribed medication.

3. Prevent Sex Changes for Minors

Good Vote: Yes

HB619 Prevent Sex Changes for Minors (Passed 13 to 10 on 5/16/2024). Prohibits gender reassignment surgery for individuals under 18.

4. Government Overreach

Good Vote: No

HB1294 Government Overreach (Passed 22 to 1 on 10/10/2024). Regulates fertilizer use on New Hampshire lawns, limiting nutrient application, restricting certain conditions, and exempting golf courses and sod farms following best practices.

5. Firearm Purchaser's Privacy Act

Good Vote: Yes

HB1186 Firearm Purchasers Privacy Act (Passed 14 to 10 on 5/2/2024). Prohibits the assignment of a specific merchant code for the sale of firearms, ammunition, or accessories.

6. Free School Meals Expansion

Good Vote: Yes

HB572 Free School Meals Expansion (Tabled 13 to 11 on 1/3/2024). Expands eligibility for free school meals to students from households earning up to 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.
