The following scorecard lists several key votes in the Oklahoma Legislature in 2023 and ranks state representatives and senators based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.

House of Representatives

1. Forced Student Loans

Good Vote: No

SB93 Forced Student Loans (Passed 69 to 28 on 4/26/2023). Requires students to complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to graduate from a public high school.

2. ERIC Prohibition

Good Vote: Yes

HB2052 ERIC Prohibition (Passed 79 to 19 on 5/15/2023). Enacts provisions making it difficult for Oklahoma to join ERIC.

3. Property Ownership

Good Vote: Yes

SB212 Property Ownership (Passed 78 to 6 on 4/26/2023). Stipulates that individuals who are not citizens of the United States are prohibited from directly or indirectly owning land in the state.

4. State-Subsidized Sports Teams

Good Vote: No

SB13 State-Subsidized Sports Teams (Passed 70 to 27 on 5/26/2023). Increases the payment period for certain qualifying entities within the sports teams and clubs industry from 15 years to 30 years as it relates to the Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program Act.

5. Con Con

Good Vote: No

HJR1032 Con Con (Passed 59 to 34 on 3/21/2023). Applies to Congress, under the provisions of Article V of the U.S. Constitution, to call for a term limits amendment.

6. Minor Gender Reassignment Surgery

Good Vote: Yes

SB613 Minor Gender Reassignment Surgery (Passed 73 to 18 on 4/26/2023). Forbids healthcare providers from performing gender transition procedures on minors.
